Young enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He banged out a single in the 1st inning, laced a one-base hit scoring a run in the 3rd inning and cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun (his 8th of the season) in the 6th inning. Jefferson Park was out-hit by Lewisville, 11 hits to 6. The victory was credited to Brian Lawrence(8-7) who went 7 innings, allowing 5 runs. Chad Cordero earned the save, his 15th. Ricky Bottalico(3-1) was charged with the loss in relief.
